Tara trained at LISPA, a Lecoq school that was once in London (sigh, no more) she is a physical fool and absurd clown but her work is mainly inspired by pop culture; she loves making the familiar feel ridiculous. Tara Boland is doing what no character comedian has done before and playing both legendary dance teacher ‘Dusty Creases’ and shock horror, ‘herself’ … in her brand new show.
Join legendary dance teacher Dusty in her ground-breaking masterclass as she demonstrates how to box step like a jellyfish, ball change like a banana and show everyone your grapes. Dusty has worked with all of the greats and now she wants to dance her goddam life away, with you.
Directed by Comedian's Choice Award winner, Joz Norris (Joz Norris is Dead, Long Live Mr Fruit Salad, You wait Time Passes) and developed on Soho Theatre's Character Lab. Selected as one of Seven Dials Playhouse ‘Seven from Seven’.

Tara also regularly performs long form improv at a wide variety of venues. She is a team member of ‘One Helluva Twist’ where she improvises Charles Dickens inspired stories on a regular basis. She is also a team member of The Free Association’s ‘666 Hell Lane’ an improvised spook fest!
